Our approach includes preventive and treatment based medicine. Many diseases and conditions of dogs and cats can be prevented by vaccinations, good nutrition, heartworm preventatives, flea and tick medications, and dental care. We recommend yearly wellness profiles/bloodwork as part of your pet’s annual examination. These results can serve as early evidence of various medical conditions and as a baseline to compare future results to.
We are also dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of your pet’s illnesses and injuries. If needed, there are specialty referral hospitals that we can refer you to in Hickory, Huntersville, and Charlotte, and the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine in Raleigh. |
